So much for my new blogging rules. I was supposed to post today and I got nuthin'!
Nothing interesting, anyway...
On the Lot - terrific new reality show. I was resistant, only because I really don't want to commit to another television program. I don't want to have to rush home from bbq's, bike rides and impromptu walks in the park.
What can I say... I'm hooked. Last night the contestants had to come up with 1 minute comedies and most of the were brilliant. BRILLIANT! (Kudos to the Canadian dude who rocks with the special effects!) Perhaps Hollywood has a chance if some of these young up and comers are the future of movies.
Maureen, Candy, what's your take?
Surprisingly, the elimination show (they got rid of THREE!) were not the ones I would have picked. And don't think I didn't notice that the three eliminated were 'others', and by that I mean non-American born. Goodbye to the lovely Spanish Carolina, the colorful Italian Claudia and the young Brit with the moppy hair. Hmmmmm, is there a conspiracy afoot? The Canadian and the South African better watch their backs.
Anyway, you know where I'll be next Monday at 8...
HOUSE - finale. I'm sad. House's team is all gone. Cameron, Foreman, and the cute blond dude (what the hell is his name? I've been watching for three years, you'd think I could look past the hot Aussie accent and pretty face). Wonder what's in store next season...
Congrats to Amy for getting a full ms request from Ellora's Cave. WOOT!! And to Red for another terrific review on Spin Devil. I'm so proud of you guys!

of course the most "non-americans" got voted off. they couldn't have all their lifelong friends and family calling in over and over to vote for them. these were clearly not the bottom three films. i wish someone on the show had the nerve to acknowledge the inevitable prejudice.
I haven't watched On the Lot but I will try to so we can discuss. =) Thanks for cheering with me, I was happy. I hope Amy has great news to share with us soon, and I hope you do too, possibly some raving reviews. Or maybe a finished WIP? LOL!!! Talk to you soon sweetie.

On the Lot sounds very interesting and a lot of fun to watch! Candy recommended that one to me in a recent blog comment.
Yay for Amy and Red! And I can't wait for those superduper reviews to start coming for you, my friend. :)
Damn I missed it again!!! Once my normal shows go off the air I tend to stop watching TV. I need to remember this is on next week.
That said, I'm determined to get caught up on House this summer. I think I'd love it.
Awww, thanks. I so outta of the loop with shows. I JUST started watching The Office and I can't believe the hilarity that I missed. DOH!
