Cop Out Quiz Day

Lots to say, but no time to say it 'cause we just bought a trampoline and I MUST JUMP!! *weeeeeeeheeeeee*

So I'm copping out and posting a quizzy thing.
I thought it would be a fun one since it's about nailing down your regional American accent and I'm a Canadian who lived in Bermuda for so long that it's impossible to tell what kind of accent I have anymore! Guess I couldn't fool the Quiz God because it came up with a purdy valid analysis.

Your Linguistic Profile:

60% General American English

15% Yankee

10% Upper Midwestern

5% Dixie

5% Midwestern

Have a great weekend! *boing boing bounce bounce*

You posted on Thursday, and again on Friday. What happened to the every-other-day regime? Collapsed, did it? Knew it would!

I can't take your test because I'm not eligible. Besides, if I scored more than 0% I'd be mortified!

Have fun with your trampoline - I got on one at a retreat a few years ago and found out they can be excellent cardiovascular exercise.

Boing boing boing boing...

Have fun on the trampoline! I am less Yankee than I thought I would be, and 0% midwestern. A smidge dixie, which is surprising--if you heard me speak, you'd think I sounded like a Northeastern snot. Which, of course, could be true. Depending.

I bought DbD yesterday, haven't read it yet. Must write own book.

Thanks for your support, Nicholas!! With friends like you, who needs...
Actually, I posted my TT on Wednesday evening, so technically, I'm okay to post today ;)
Aren't you on vacay yet??

Leah - that's what I'm hoping! But for the sake of my neighbours, I'll won't jump until after dark ;)

Red - when time comes, I'll teach 'Canadian' English, eh?

Megan - "Must write own book." LOL!! Good advice. I should try that too instead of blogging so much ;)
Good thing about DbD is it's a one-sitting novella. Hope you like it! (But if you don't, don't tell me)

I've done this one before a few years ago...and I wondered if my results would have changed...but they didn't...here are mine:

35% General American English

30% Yankee

25% Dixie

5% Upper Midwestern

0% Midwestern

the 25% dixie cracks me up...I have no idea where that comes from and I had the same result a few years ago...I'll post my results tomorrow okay on my blog...and by the way I meant to say in response in your other post about music that I don't listent o music while I write...but I do while I paint.
