WOOT! I'm first, I'm first *big grin*. What a neat TT -- hubby and I always joke that we'd love to have our own little island. Thank any of those places would allow us to take over? ;-D

Very interesting info! And guess what -- I talk about you on my TT today *grin*!

Happy TT, my friend!

Oddly enough, I was wondering exactly what were the smallest countries in the world. You've cleared it up for me. :) I did know Vatican City was the smallest, but that was it.

Very, very interesting! I'm terrible at picturing acres/size in my mind.

I saw an adorable kids' performance of a song called, "Where is Leichtenstein?" a few years back. And I still have no idea!

Neat list..If you knew these, you should join us for trivia in atlanta sometime

Isn't Leichtenstein the place Heath Ledger's character was from in a Knight's Tale? I love that movie. :)

Hmmm...I've never been to any of those places before. I want to visit the Vatican city, though. Good T13!

Wow - I knew about the Vatican City but had no idea about how many others existed. Am off to find a map of the world, failing that . . . I'll just use google earth.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend, XINE

I've been to the Vatican and also the "self-governing colony" of Bermuda.

Neat list!

Interesting facts...and I actually didn't know the rest. I'm only familiar with Vatican City.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Happy Thursday!

thanx for the geography lesson. i love trivia. but i suck at trivia games cause i can never remember the answer in the time alotted. I took geography several time in school between grade school and college and got passing grades but trouble is it won't stick five minutes past the time it takes me to pass a test. espcially if there are any numbers attatched to it. now attatch story to it and that's a different story altogether. most of the geography info that sticks with me i picked up in fiction--novels and films.

and as a writer, i enjoy researching setting and local so much, i probably could have finished twenty novels if i'd spent that same amount of time actually writing them. sigh.

my tt is honoring my husband's grandma who passed on Tuesday.

Huh. I thought Lichtenstein would have been even closer to #1. Shows you what MY world view is like!

Happy TT, darling. I'm sure you can guess at least part of what inspired mine this week. Private school (and the resultant snobby parents), here I come!

Fun Fun! I never realized how few people live in Vatican City! It's itty bitty!

I had no idea .. Very interesting. Stats really change your perspective.

Wow! I haven't heard of half of these.

Love this, Wylie. And I wouldn't mind living in one of those nice little places either!!! I'll take it. =)

Nope, never been to any of them. Seems like I've never been anywhere!

now see, one of the reasons i love your blog so much is i always learn something new. Monaco though sounds crowded for .7 sq miles. too many peeps in too small of a space.

Ann Aguirre said...

I'd like to visit them all, except maybe Vatican City.

Isn't there a guy who lives on an old oil platform off the coast of England who had it announced it's own country? Did I dream that...

Very interesting:)

Interesting! Also a great beginning to a list of places to go before I die!
I have been to Vatican City and Leichtenstein (don't blink!).
Thanks for providing some weekend conversation topics.

Always something new to learn from you! I haven't been to any of those places yet... maybe someday.

Thanks for visiting my list! :-)

Great list. I've been to Grenada & St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We did a Windjammer Cruise through there in 2001. Beautiful islands, the worst part though was seeing a KFC on Grenada...

Darn it. Just when I'd convinced myself I didn't really have time to read Angels and Demons again, there you go mentioning the Vatican.

Now I'll have to read and I'm gonna blame you for it ;)

ROFL! We own more land than two countries! Suddenly I feel rich. Of course, I imagine our land is worth significantly less than Monaco and the Vatican... (grin)

Anonymous said...

Hey, I think I own enough land to make me a small country. I'll have to secede from Texas though. I wouldn't want to do that;-)

Great list. Thanks for the trivia. Happy TT.

Wylie! Guess what... I tagged you for a meme. :-D Come see my blog for details!

I've been to three of them. Did you know that Nauru's economy is based on bird poop?
