Can't keep track of all the stuff I need to so I'm appealing for some extra brain power:
I was tagged for a few memes this summer and inevitably put them off until 'after vacation' but I stupidly stupidly didn't bookmark them and as I have the memory span of a bag of frozen peas, please help!
If you've tagged me for a meme and I haven't posted, please will you remind me? Or link me back to the original?
And I've been terrible with keeping up my blog links, so if I've neglected to list your blog on my sidebar, please speak up and I'll be happy to add you.
And finally - I need a good topic for my writer's craft segment for Six Degrees of Sexy so I'm doing an informal poll. What topic would appeal to you:
- Organizing your workspace - from home office to laptop on the couch
- How to use descriptive settings to further characterize your hero/heroine
- Body language basics
PS - If you haven't read Nicholas's hilarious Thursday Thirteen from last week (the one about the socks), get over there. That boy shows some imagination that I'm sure will inspire other TTers!

Oh those are all great topics. I like the body language basics topic personally. But you don't have to listen to me. :)
Oooh, I second Christine. Body language basics topic is a MUST! =)
Crickets, I barely remember the memes I am supposed to do, as opposed to keeping track of yours too.
Body language *ding ding ding*
A fourth vote for body language! That's a great topic for writer's craft. :)
Hee, I can't remember if I've tagged you for a meme or not -- my memory's like swiss cheese these days.
And oh my, Nicholas's T13 about socks is a T13 that will forever live in the Land of Explosive Gigglesnorts!
hi wylie,
1. excellent tip about bill bryson and (i've forgotten already) - any titles in particular i should look out for? thanks!
2. ref Poll - i like all three - do them all, one after the other. i sure can use tips on each topic
3. ref: the restaurant movie - i haven't seen that one and so i would rely on your judgment that it's worthwhile, HOWEVER - (you knew it was coming) this movie is a remake of a relatively recent German movie that ran here, I believe, as "Mostly Martha". It was absolutely superb, with all three leads doing a moving, low-key, effective job of portraying realistic characters - none were especially gorgeous or wellknown. It burns me when a gem of a movie is ripped off by Hollywood and people don't even know its a remake. If you can, take a look at the original - it should be interesting to see how you think they compare.

Body language no more hair raking for me or you or anyone got it!!!! ;)
Body language basics! I'm so tired of the clenched jaw/fist cliches ...
Though descriptive setting is tempting too...
M - I've only read one Bill Bryson - and a few 'excerpts' of others. I can't remember the name of the one I read - but I laughed my butt off. It was a travel book, so I actually learned quite a bit about the Appalachian Trail as an added bonus.
I didn't realize that No Reservations was a remake of a RECENT movie. I assumed it had been an oldie. I've mixed feeling about seeing the original because I'm bound to be disappointed in one or the other then, right?
Thanks for listing my blog. Now I've got to finish some books!
Wylie, I just nominated you for a Thoughtful Blogger Award. Nominations on your part are optional;-)
