Think of it this way, babe. The best characters grow and change. That's one of the reasons we read the book or series or what have you.

Thus, you're a character in your own life. You, too, can grow and change.

Or Amy can slap you around some more. Your pick.

I liked your article, too, Wylie! :) It's always a joy to discover a new writer to enjoy.

Guess what, my friend... I tagged you for a meme. It's a writer's meme, and I'm sure you'll have fun with it! :)

TL - thanks! I'll check it out for post later this week. And TL, you'd really enjoy Molly's book.

SHG - always the voice of wisdom!! And Amy scares me.

I started out trying to write for Harlequin because that's what all my friends were writing. I don't fit the box very well, and I have to agree the Harlequin books are amazing with really tight writing but full of emotion. They're very hard to write! I can't do it.
Have you heard about the contest Harlequin are holding for Presents/Extra Modern lines at the moment? Check out the IHeartPresents blog or I have an older post on my blog. I think it's titled Instant Seduction.
