Life on Mars

I'm currently on holiday... if you can call visiting family up north a 'holiday'. It's cold here. Pity me.
And thank goodness for autoposting :)
Watched the final ep of Life on Mars and WOW - very cool ending. Despite the title, I confess... I totally didn't see that coming. D'oh.

Have you been watching? Thoughts on ending?? I'm really going to miss that show, especially the music. And No-Nuts. Think of the lawsuits that nickname would launch today!

I didn't like the ending. Haven't been watching the show since the beginning, but why show the car accident to set him up in an alternative universe if he's already in an altered universe?

I'd have settled for the telephone call cliffhanger. Also, who the heck was making the phone calls???

Why would *I* watch a show about Life on Mars? I live WEST of it for a reason, you know!

LOL Susan.

I haven't watched Life on Mars. The US version started down here recently. I've been watching True Blood. Now I enjoy that. Actually, I've been watching a lot of television since all the new shows have started.

hehe, I think of Susan when I hear the title "Life on Mars", too. And it was cute, your post title being "Life on Mars" and your first sentence being "I'm on holiday." *giggle* Be fun to go to Mars! ;)

Enjoy your holiday, and H & P!

Hey Wylie!

How are you? It's been way too long...I was watching Life On Mars and really loved it...I MISSED the last episode!!! I'll have to try to find it on YouTube or something.

Hey, I just posted one of my 16mm films from the 90's and there is a tiny bit of black humour and a tiny bit of erotica...and I thought you might be interested in seeing it.

I hope you had a great spring break with your family and not too tired out.

Cheers,
Candy

Hi Jana,
I think the car accident was the catalyst for the 'programmed adventure' to mess up. He was only supposed to only go to 2008...
I'm sorry to hear the ending didn't work for you :(
There's nothing worse than investing time and emotional energy into a show and not having that satisfaction.
Personally, I was okay with it. Better than the original UK version, which, I understand, ended with him jumping off a building!

Susan!! You crack me up :)

Shelley - I haven't seen True Blood yet :(
I'll have to rent the DVD's when they come out. It definitely looks like a MUST see program.

Deana - thanks for stopping by. Always nice to see a new face :)
