We're still here!!

So the second episode of Fringe was on and it was... well... okay. Just okay. Didn't grab me like the first one did, although it had some intriguing moments.
I'm disappointed, only because I wanted to LOVE it. Will I watch again? Yeah, probably, but I won't cancel any plans for it.
And the serial killer storyline left me jonesing for Dexter!

Did you see it? What did you think? Are there any new fall shoes you're looking forward to??

postscript: (ha!! I meant SHOWS, of course... thanks Shelley!)

Today marks the one week anniversary of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) going online. And guess what? We're still here! Yay - the planet didn't get sucked into a man-made black hole, we didn't pop into another dimension (at least, I don't think so) or blow up into cosmic dust.
Yet.

I didn't watch it. I told myself after House (so sad) that if I wanted to watch Bones tomorrow, then I needed to skip the Fringe thing and get to work. Aren't you proud of me for having priorities? Granted, all I accomplished was writing a blog post, but that's neither here nor there.

JK - good for you!!
By the time Fringe came on, my mind was mush (or so I tell myself) so nothing creative would have gotten done. In fact, I'm not much of an evening writer.

Dexter! I can't wait. :-D

And yup, I've been thinking a lot about the LHC -- gonna have to see what they're discovering! :)

Hey, maybe we ARE in another dimension now, and we just know it...

*Twilight Zone Theme* doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo

You know I just couldn't get into that Dexter show. I watched the first one and never watched it again.

I was wondering what shoes had to do with TV until I realized it was a typo. It took me a while since I'm not feeling very bright today. This wretched flu!!

I like Fringe. I will continue to follow it. I'm looking forward to Dollhouse.

I am so out of the loop. Maybe the LHC (still have that rap stuck in my head btw)sucked me into an alternate dimension.

Ugh, all I know is I got to get back to work.

And shoe is just Ed Sullivan's way of saying show. Reelly big shoe.

I tend to buy shoes that don't make me fall.

Nicholas - bwa ha ha. You're funny like my grandfather.

M - we should indeed do a comparison. Bet we'd find our TBR list grows ;)

Amy - is there space for me in that alternate dimension? :)

Jane - I don't know of this Dollhouse! I'll google it now...

Shelley - must admit, after the first episode of Dexter, I wasn't that wow'd either. Took me three to get fully hooked. In fact, I found the first one kinda creepy/campy.

TL - maybe we are. Maybe we are.
