With Sweetness (aka 3 yr old) now going to preschool 3 mornings per week, I seriously thought, "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Mamma has some writin' time!!"
Boy was I wrong!
Four mornings, at 500 words per session, SHOULD have added up to at least 2000 words, right?
So how many have I written? Two. That's correct, TWO. The one and only morning I had free of other obligations, I ended up scratching and rewriting a scene I wasn't happy with, which gained a net total of TWO words to the story. Not even worth updating my progress bar.
Can I get a collective "Oh, Wylie! *groan*"? Or you can simply shake your head in disgust along with me...
Informal poll:
My in-laws are visiting for the week so in the interest of time (very little of it) I'm trying to prepare my Thursday Thirteen in advance. My topic this week is SEXY VOICES.
I have a few on my list already, but could really use some suggestions. Whose voice would you like to hear whispering in your ear in the dark. Please disregard looks/age/sex. Focus simply on VOICE. (Robin - I've already got Chad on the list, and Amy - of course Gerard Butler is there too!) Again, it can be male or female (Sparky - got any??).
Appreciate your help!

Michael Wincott (he played Guy of Gisborne in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and the bad guy in The Crow. Mmmm...
My father always said Kathleen Turner (Romancing the Stone) has a sexy female voice. I have to agree. I like Colin Firth ooooh and Sean Connery "Not so fast Trebek" LOL, just had to do that.
Oh Brian Bedford who did the voice of the Fox Robin Hood in Disney's Robin Hood. Always loved his voice.
LOL, yeah, that's perfectly normal, Wylie.
By the way, check out my blog this aft - looks like Chapters has jumped the gun!
Oh she knows, believe me. Hehehehehehe
chick wise, Gina Gershon is made hotter when she has that smoky growl. And any accent is a good accent. If you have an Aussie and an American in front of you and they are twins and hot, I would pick the Aussie just for the accent.
Oh, oh, oh... I second Amy... Sean Freakin' Connery! Man oh man, what a voice.
2? only 2 words? that's totally appalling, shameful, disgraceful. Really, Wylie, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I haven't written ANY. For at least a week. :(
*LOL* I hear ya! Just when you think you'll have some free time to write, something pops up and ruins your schedule.
As for sexy voices, I'd say Sean Bean and Sean Connory have very sexy voices. *wg* It's all in their British accent. *winks*
Still only TWO words? Wylie I'm going to go up there and personally MAKE you write.
Ok sexy voice...how about sexy accent? Rupert Everett and Sean Connery?
I just noticed the poll - I love deep rumbly voices. Forget about the age and the weight but James Earl Jones. Or Michael Dorn. Any Irish accent too - the delicious Liam Neeson. Now this is going to bother me for the rest of the day - there are so many that I could just close my eyes and fantasize about but I can't remember their names, only their voices.
i can't believe i'm the first to say barry white. and the frontman for crashtest dummies - they played the free outdoor new year's eve concert in north york one year and when he launched into the chorus of the superman song with that ultradeep, powerful voice completely forgot i was developing frostbite
Clive Owen. Mel Gibson (minus the issues.) Kevin Sorbo.
