I was getting tired of the orange, but too lazy to change the entire format, ... just the THOUGHT of entering all the info in my sidebar was just too daunting!
I was aiming for a calmer, more relaxed look. What do you think of the blue? Easier/harder to read? Your comments are always appreciated ;)

The Wii tourney was a blast. Between chatting, noshing and drinking, the Wii play went on for about 6 hours! And I managed to not look like too big a fool - in fact, I scored a record high (for me) in bowling and managed to smoke everyone in target shooting.
Tennis and cow racing,... not so good.
I can't recommend this gaming system highly enough -- and this is coming from a person that SUCKS at everything SPORTS and video-gamish. I'm hooked ;)

Before the insanity of Christmas started, I signed up for a course on Storyboarding. I don't regret signing up, but regret the timing. I'm so geared up to begin my novel tomorrow - but the course starts today!! Again, so little time, so much to do/learn...

I like the blue/green combo.
I like the blue better than the orange.
Cow racing? What the heck type of game is that? (Never seen a Wii system working.)
Good luck on the course but the timing always sucks on them. Keep plugging away and remember what Margaret Moore said in last year's Romance 101 - take what works for you, ignore what doesn't. There are no definite methods that'll guarantee a sale.
Yeah what's cow racing? Dang, I really need to pull the Wii out of my son's room so I can play it in the living room! :)
Blog looks great! Sorry about the bad timing on the class. I'm sure you won't regret it tho.
Cow racing -- you race your cow through a simple course and try and knock down scarecrows for points. It sounds simple, eh? Well, it is, if you have any degree of hand/eye coordination -- which I don't!! LOL But it's fun :)
Thanks for your comments on the new look!
Wylie, I like the new look. I know what you mean about not wanting to redo the sidebar stuff. It is a royal pain. You are making me want to buy a Wii. Then I'll never get anything done. LOL.
OH I love Story boarding I took it last year and I still use the process. I love Story Boarding.
I know, I know, I got to get a Wii.
I lurve my DS though, I'm hooked on Legend of Zelda, it just seems to go on forever. With treasure maps, sea voyages, pirates and salvages. It's like travelling in my own home ... without sharks.
I do like the blue, it is calming. :D
I'm not much into video games but I've heard great things about WII. I'll have to try it sometime.
Kristy - then my job here is done ;)
And I'm instituting a 'NO Wii until 500 words are written!' daily rule. I'll let you know how that works for me!! LOL
Kelley - I've never been 'into' video games, but the Wii is different because you actually get off your butt to do the stuff. No sitting around...
AND - it's something the entire family can take part in. With 3 & 8 year old boys, I find it hard to find things we can all do together. Gladly, we're all Wii bowling, Wii golfing and Wii cow racing (to various levels of skill, of course).
Amy - I was looking at Zelda today in Toys R Us. The only thing that's holding me back is the T for teen. It would be hard for me to hide that from my 8 year old :D
Meantime, I got Big Brain Academy on Christine's recommend and also saw that word one that you mentioned. I already told my boys to get it for me for mother's day.
Oooooh, I like the blue! That looks really good.
Sounds like the Wii tournament was cool, and congrats on smoking everyone in target shooting! I'd kick butt on that, too. :)
And how exciting about the Storyboarding course! I look forward to hearing about how that goes.
Oh I've heard so many good things about that course. Please let me know how you make out with it!
And I really like the blue. Easy on the eyes but still striking.
Cowracing sounds interesting *grin* Glad I'm not a scarecrow!
I did a storyboarding course through PI at the end of last year with Shelley Bradley. I'm not a plotter at all and found it really good/interesting. I think I can do it. As soon as I finish my current project I'm going to attempt plotting my next story with the storyboarding process.
