And it shall be released...

SQUEEE - Law of Averages finally has a release date!

MAY 16, 2008

Here's the new official unofficial blurb:
Megan Frost, an up-and-coming restaurateur, knows everything there is to know about the culinary arts, but when it comes to pop culture, she’s been living under a rock. During a vacation to the sunny island of Bermuda, the yummiest dish she’s ever laid eyes on brings her out of hiding.

British musician Gabriel Law, the famous Dark Angel of Rock, regrets putting his songwriting on the back burner. Tired and creatively simmered out, he retreats to the peace and solitude of Bermuda in order to cook up some original sounds for his new album. But when he finds a naked girl in his holiday cottage, he happily exchanges solitude for a sizzling duet.

The ingredients for a sexy, scorching relationship are in place, but the mix isn’t complete without a romantic legend, a mysterious taxi driver and a surprise symbol of destiny from the aquamarine sea…

Can't post the cover yet because I requested a few little tweaks -- and I'll spare y'all the major pimpage for now, but be warned, come April/May it will be relentless ;)
The pics are to whet your appetite...

YAY hooray for a release date Wylie!!

I've seen cover prior to tweaks so I'm excited to see it again when your tweaks are in place.

Glad you kept the bit about the mysterious taxi driver, that's really got me interested. Got to love mysterious taxi drivers. :D

Tempest - yes it would make a great summer read since it takes place on a sunny island.

Amy - funny thing is, our editors have the ultimate say on the blurb and have the right to change/rewrited any or all of it! She liked 'mysterious taxi driver' so it stayed... and she added the new phrase at the end, which I really like.

This sounds perfect for the pre-summer season, when everyone's sick of winter and Bermuda will send its siren call. Can't wait to see the cover, but these pics will certainly tide me over until then. I love how your heroine has never heard of the Dark Angel of Rock!

Hi Julia - I was hoping to be able to post the cover too, but it needed a wee alteration so I dug deep into the archives to find these two stunning shots.

And my heroine HAS heard of the Dark Angel of Rock -- she's just never heard of Gabriel Law... and oh boy, when she finds out they're one and the same, that's when the story gets really good!
